Celebrating My Blog’s First Anniversary

Today marks one year since I launched my blog. I’d put up a few articles in the preceding weeks but kept it private, until announcing the launch on November 6th, 2018.

It’s been a wonderful twelve months! On this anniversary I really just wanted to thank you all—whether you’ve read every post or just stumbled across my blog today. I’m grateful you’d give me even a little bit of your time. I hope my words have encouraged you to press forward in trusting Jesus.

A special thanks to those who’ve shared my articles, commented, or encouraged me (online or in person). Your kindness has helped immensely when I’ve been tired and discouraged. I’m truly thankful for you!

I’ve had exciting opportunities and made friends with fantastic people over the past year. When I launched my blog, I wasn’t even sure I’d be able to stick with it beyond a few months. God has been so kind to give me the energy I needed to post each week, and he’s used my weak and faltering words in ways I couldn’t have imagined. He has certainly grown me through it all. All glory be to him!

To mark this occasion, I thought I’d round up some of the best articles from the past year that you might have missed. I’ll list my five most popular articles, and then give you a few of my personal favourites that didn’t make the ‘best of’ list:

I don’t plan to stop blogging anytime soon, so (God willing) you can expect much of the same from me in the next year: a new article each Monday, plus bonus content like link roundups and book reviews on occasional Thursdays. Don’t forget to sign up to my email list if you want to receive a monthly email with all my latest articles.

Thank you again for reading! I’d love to hear from you anytime.

Yours in Christ,

I bookmarked this post but somehow missed getting back to it until today. It has been a pleasure seeing your writing rise to the surface, and a privilege getting to know you a little, one day we may even meet in person. Keep writing, you serve the body well.

Thanks so much, Chris! I’m definitely looking forward to meeting in person someday. Thank you for your continual encouragement.
